Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was fantastic, full of nice little touches and one big surprise we did not expect. The reception team was great with great views and a sky bar with a patio and views towards the Eye. However, the room was extremely cold, like the Arctic all night, and despite reporting a heating issue, got only a temporary fix as we were leaving the next day.
The hotel offers very nice and clean rooms with lots of useful freebies, although not very large, they are well-appointed and afford a great view of the city. The service is helpful and very friendly, making for a relaxing stay, while the location is fantastic for exploring London. The dining experience, although with a good selection, can be a bit expensive. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory with nice amenities available.
My stay at the hotel was simply wonderful. The rooms were fantastic, full of nice little touches and a big surprise we didn't expect. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for my plans, and the dining experience was amazing. Definitely a great value for the price paid.
I had a great stay at the hotel with some ups and downs. The rooms were nice with a lovely view from the large windows, and the meals offered were varied and delicious. However, the service could be improved, especially in terms of speed and welcoming attitude. The location was convenient, with nice pubs nearby, but it could use a bit of sprucing up. The dining experience was excellent, providing a wide variety of dishes to suit different tastes.
The hotel offers a delightful stay with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great location. The dining experience could be enhanced with more options, but overall, it's a fantastic choice for a visit. The price is reasonable, considering the value provided.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were on the small side, but they were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the subtle citrus scent in the room. The service was exceptional with polite and helpful staff who made sure everything was perfect. The location was ideal, just a short walk from Waterloo station and close to many attractions. The dining experience was good with a variety of options, although a bit pricey. Overall, a great value for money.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the room was well-equipped and stocked with food and drinks, the heating issue and cold temperatures made my stay uncomfortable. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff, especially Janu. The location was convenient with easy access to attractions, but the dining experience was mediocre. The breakfast had plenty of choices but was a bit busy. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were of a high standard and modern, but a bit noisy due to road traffic, especially from emergency vehicles. The bathroom lighting made it challenging to do makeup. The service was a bit inconsistent; while the bar man at the rooftop bar was very helpful, the overall welcoming attitude was lacking. The location was great, offering easy access to attractions, with a nice view and clean facilities. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options, but a bit pricey. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's convenient location, just a short distance from Waterloo St, making it easy to explore various Southwark spots and city sights. The rooms, though a bit tired in appearance, offered stunning views from the 12th floor and featured enormous, cozy beds with plenty of pillows. The service provided by the friendly and helpful staff added to the positive experience, especially for a single parent traveling with a child. However, the dining prices were a bit high for the food quality, and the first night in the room felt cold and took some time to warm up.
The hotel is located in a more quiet area within walking distance of the South Bank and three tube stations, making it incredibly convenient for our needs. Although the rooms are small, they are nice and bright, offering a cozy atmosphere. The service was a mixed bag with some unfriendly interactions but welcoming encounters at breakfast and the skybar. The dining options were expensive but had plenty of vegetarian choices which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the location is fantastic, and the hotel offers decent value for money.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The City View room upgrade was definitely worth it, despite the noise from the traffic outside. The room was lovely, clean, and had everything I needed, with some nice little touches.
The hotel offers a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff in a great location. The breakfast options could be improved, but the pool area is well-maintained and enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were great for those rainy days, lovely, and very comfortable. The service was top-notch, especially at the sky bar, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring The Southbank and Waterloo station. The dining experience was superb with a wide selection of delicious options. Overall, a welcoming and lovely experience with a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms, while slightly smaller than expected for a 4-star standard, were clean and comfortable, with the usual amenities like tea and coffee. The highlight was the extensive and varied breakfast buffet featuring delicious Spanish custard. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure our comfort and even providing blankets. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and key attractions like the London Eye and the South Bank. The dining experience was impressive, offering a wide range of dishes, but having precooked eggs was a minor drawback. Overall, a good value for the money.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and tidy, everything neat and clean just like in the pictures, making it truly comfortable. The service was superb, even during busy periods, and the location couldn't be better, being close to key attractions and transport options. The dining was nice, but a bit overpriced, and the facilities were great overall.
